WOW! What a fantastic debut of LEVEL UP DANCE COMPETITION!
The talent on stage blew us away.

The hard work that each dancer puts into their training to perform and compete was clear from the stunning routines we saw yesterday.

Meet another Judge - Alfie Aves,

A First-Class Honours graduate of Laine Theatre Arts—recipient of the Men’s Classical Ballet, Acting and Daniel Bolton awards. As a dancer, Alfie worked as Dance Captain for Spring Awakening - West End, appeared in a multitude productions throughout the UK, and modelled internationally.

Alfie is now part of the Laine Theatre Arts Degree Faculty and was part of their audition panel for the 2025 intake.

In 2022, he was awarded a scholarship to train with the Verdon Fosse Legacy in New York City, a formative experience that continues to inspire his work. He is passionate about playing his part in preserving the work of Bob Fosse and maintaining the integrity of the style.

His students have consistently achieved national competition success and some have gone on to perform professionally in the West End.

Alfie is the founder of Nexus Dance Initiative, an associate programme that champions elite young performers through immersive, industry-standard training.

Alfie will be giving away 2 places at his Associate Programme!

We are proud to have Alfie with us at Level Up in May!
